Atiku Wanted PDP To Zone It's Presidential Ticket To The S/East, But Gov Wike Refused- Daniel Bwala

In a chat with journalists on Friday morning, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party’s national chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu asked presidential aspirants in the party to withdraw for a former Nigerian Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, as he did not want the Rivers State Governor to emerge as the party’s 2023 presidential candidate.

Governor Nyesom Wike further claimed that Senator Iyorchia Ayu is a corrupt man, who diverted one billion Naira meant for the PDP’s presidential primary and promised to reveal the donor of the one billion Naira if Senator Iyorchia Ayu denies his allegations.

In an exclusive interview with Channels Television on Friday night, a legal practitioner and spokesman of the Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, Daniel Bwala reacted to Governor Nyesom Wike’s revelation in Rivers State earlier today.

Daniel Bwala revealed that there were plans in the PDP to zone the party’s 2023 presidential ticket to the South-East and it received the support of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, but Governor Nyesom Wike disagreed and persisted that the party’s 2023 presidential ticket should be thrown open, because he was eyeing the presidency.

The PDP’s presidential campaign spokesman further claimed that Governor Nyesom Wike always cries foul play anytime he does not have his way and is ready to label those who does not share in his idea, as betrayers.
