Man killed by armed robbers in Sango after shouting for help and arguing with one of them

According to a news that was published by the Punch Newspaper online this morning it was reported that some suspected armed robbers, have shot three people dead within three weeks at Ipamesan and Oyede communities in Sango, Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Information that was given made it known that in the latest operation that was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, the armed robbers reportedly killed a motor boy, whose name was given as Olugori Adewale, and injured his neighbour, one Lekan, A.K.A Daddy Praise, at Olufunmilayo Street, Ipamesan, Sango.

It was reported that the two victims, alongside their family members, were sleeping when robbers invaded their residence at midnight after scaling their fence. A witness reported that Adewale was the first person to see the armed robbers, who were six in number and started shouting for help and also arguing with one of them, as he did not know that they were six.

Due to annoyance, they forced their way inside the building through the kitchen and headed straight to Adewale’s room and shot him dead.

The source said, “One of our neighbours, Lekan, a father of three, who heard Adewale screaming for help before he was shot, also rushed out to assist but, the armed robbers, on sighting him, shot him in the stomach but, he survived.”
