Abike Dabiri Reacts As Nigerian-Born Real Madrid Star, David Alaba Builds Public Toilet In Ogun

A few hours ago, veteran broadcaster, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, came out on social media to react to the generous donation of a bio-degradable toilet facility donated to the Ogun State government by Real Madrid defender, David Olatokunbo Alaba.

It was gathered that the biodegradable facility, which reportedly cost N13.3 million, was constructed by a foundation owned by the Nigerian-born Alaba at Kara market in the Ogere Remo axis of Ogun State where the parents of the 30-year-old footballer hail from.

Quite interestingly, the laudable project, which was commissioned on the September 17, 2022, has drawn the attention of several prominent Nigerians, including the Chairman, Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Taking to her verified Twitter handle to react, Abike applauded Alaba for his donation, adding that the project was done to support the move by the Muhammadu Buhari regime to end open defecation in Nigeria. Going further, she also explained that the Real Madrid superstar is planning to build a football training center in the country.

“A big thanks for the facility donated by the David Alaba Foundation at Kara Market, Ogere Remo, Ogun State to support FGN’s move to end open defecation. David is also planning a football training centre in Nigeria,” she wrote.
