The female league in Spain just began their games, and it was good to see the Nigerian footballers playing in the league back in competitive action. One of the best teams in Spain is Barcelona, and it was good to see a Nigerian making her debut for the Blaugranas.
Vicky Lopez has got skills, speed, tricks, and knows how to score goals. Even though she is just 16 years old, she’s got loads of talents and has been able to attract top clubs, this is why she recently left Madrid CFF for Barcelona. She was born to a Spanish father and Nigerian mum in 2006.
Since she joined Barcelona, she’s been playing games and even won the Gamper trophy, but Barcelona’s game against Tenerife was her official debut and the Catalans won 2-0. Vicky set a record in the game by being the youngest player to make a debut for Barcelona women.
She did so at the age of 16 days, 1 month, and 19 days. Vicky was glad about her debut and is willing to work hard to improve her game and talent.
Congratulations to her.
