Gov. Ortom undergoes head surgery.

The Benue State Government confirmed on Wednesday that Governor Samuel Ortom had minor head surgery.
This comes after questions were raised about a plaster placed on the governor’s head.
Answering the questions, Terver Akase, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, said Ortom had a boil on the right side of his forehead, and the plaster was applied to keep it from becoming infected.
He said; “A number of people have asked questions about the plaster on Governor Samuel Ortom’s forehead in the last few days.

Toby Okechukwu (PDP-Enugu) has faulted his inclusion on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) list for the 2023 poll as the Labour Party’s candidate for Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency.
Mr Okechukwu, also the deputy minority leader of the House of Representatives, said this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
“My attention has been drawn to the list of candidates for the 2023 general election released by INEC, wherein my name was published as the Labour Party Candidate for Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency, Enugu State.
SGF Boss Mustapha calls for political restructuring.

Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has called for the restructuring of political parties in Nigeria.
This, he said, was to change their focus to serving the people and entrenching democracy.
