The Osun State Police Command arrested two suspected murderers after they allegedly collaborated to kill a filling station manager in Ikere, the headquarters of Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State.
While being paraded yesterday, the suspects revealed that they were paid a sum of N250,000 to kill the deceased by the father of one of their friends. One of the suspects, Adamo Aliyu, revealed that he used a hammer to hit the manager on the head while he was sleeping. His friend completed the heinous act after he hit him with a wrench several times.
Speaking on their previous criminal acts, he said, “I have lost count of the people we killed, they, (our victims) were majorly commercial motorcyclists.” He said.
He added that even recently, they sold about six motorcycles they seized from their victims. After selling them, he got over one million Naira but he used all the money to buy marijuana and other hard drugs.
